VALLEY SCHOOL FIRST!
Thankyou!
A big thankyou to BOC for donating a new gas bottle to Valley School. Their support is much appreciated.
Thank you also to the Williams family for providing a PC for use by one of our pupils.
East Street Drop Off Bay
New signs have been put up in the East Street drop off bay as the council have changed the designation of that area. Please take note of the signs, as the council will be enforcing parking restrictions in that area.
Another reminder to parents and families – please do not use the driveway or car park to drop off or pick up pupils before school or at 3:00pm. The area is too small and it becomes dangerous. The driveway and car park are for staff vehicles only.
Electrical Upgrade
There has been a lot of work going on at school over the past week on our electrical upgrade. We are part way there! We have lots more power coming in to the school and we now have to have a new sub-mains put in before we can start installing heat pumps in classrooms. Apologies if you find you are walking through a bit of mud at times – hard to get away from it when work happens in this wet weather!
Report Meeting
Keep an eye out for a special invitation coming home soon from our PTA. The PTA will be hosting a special meeting where we will present a proposed new parent report format. At the meeting we will be asking for your feedback and ideas about what we are doing with reporting to parents so we hope you will come along.
Health and Physical Education Survey
Every two years we must consult with our community on our Health and Physical Education Survey. The survey will be sent out before the end of the term and we look forward to all your feedback and ideas.
